Pillars of Service: Career Pathways

The overlay of a “Career Pathways” model emphasizes the provision of well-articulated training and mentoring for high-demand occupations, while integrating supportive services.

The Career Pathways approach plays a critical role in developing the framework for training and education services for low-skilled, under-educated individuals.

According to the Department of Labor, 63 percent of job openings by 2018 will require workers with at least some college education. This is where MAAC plays an important role: our services offer tools and resources people need to overcome barriers, maximize their potential and successfully transition into a life of higher education and greater success.
